Select the Limit
Turn ON the switch values whose sum equals the required detection setting.
DIN-Rail AC Current Monitoring
Set the operating threshold directly—from 1 A to 63 A.
A compact industrial relay for detecting, monitoring and signalling AC-load current. Six additive selector switches provide clear 1 A threshold resolution without software or a separate programming tool.
Compact DIN-Rail ModuleSimple Threshold Programming
The selector values are 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 and 32 A. Move the required switches to ON and add their values to obtain the current limit.
Switch positions 1 A and 2 A ON. All other positions OFF.
Turn ON the switch values whose sum equals the required detection setting.
The manual recommends setting the limit at least 1 A below the required detection current where line variation is expected.
Keeping all six positions OFF disables current detection.
The conductor turn ratio through the CT aperture may be adapted when lower-current resolution is required.

The pluggable relay, screw terminals, LEDs, selector and conductor aperture remain visible and accessible after DIN-rail mounting.

Industrial Applications
The isolated CT input allows current status to be monitored without placing a shunt directly in the power circuit.
Provide a relay status signal from the current drawn by an AC motor.
Confirm that an AC heater circuit is drawing current when commanded.
Convert an isolated current condition into a dry-contact input for PLC logic.
Monitor AC lamps and other loads for machine-state or maintenance indication.
Use the programmable threshold within the machine control strategy for load supervision.
DIN-rail mounting supports compact integration into industrial control panels.
